The Role

Reporting to the Development Manager, your role will be to assist them with all development processes across the life-cycle. The project of focus is mid to large scale consisting of high-end apartments, townhouses and conventional house & land, however the focus will be on land and civil works.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:

  • Assisting in feasibility work and maintaining the feasibility throughout project development and delivery.
  • Assisting with the town planning process including liaison with planning consultants, councils and authorities in order to gain approvals, and assisting with the preparation of planning submissions.
  • Assisting in the review of engineering, structural and landscape drawings to ensure optimal development outcomes and cost efficiencies.
  • Oversight of consultants and management and coordination of contractors.
  • Liaison with both internal and external sales teams to prepare sales contracts and design guidelines.

Requirements

To be suitable for this role, you will:

  • Hold a degree qualification in property or related discipline (prefereably Civil Engineering, Construction or Project Management).
  • Ideally have at least 2 years experience in within a civil contractor, consultancy, or developer.
  • Have an understanding of the development life-cycle especially how the delivery and construcion process go together (tedering, contract admin, programming, etc).
  • Possess will developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be confident, articulate and have the ability to problem solve.
