LJ Hooker Glenelg is seeking a career minded Property Manager who will be responsible for running their own portfolio whilst being supported by a growing property management team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated candidate to continue their career in property management. Applicants will have either minimum one year experience in a property management/real estate administration role or be recently qualified through a RTO, must be able to efficiently service and expand their portfolio and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We're looking for someone who is passionate, goal oriented and committed to deliver exceptional customer service and will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with landlords, tenants and suppliers
  • Attending to routine and emergency maintenance as required
  • Performing routine/periodic inspections according to legislation and providing reports to landlords
  • Tenancy agreement documentation and signups
  • Arrears management and tenant/landlord invoicing
  • Advertising & showing vacant rental properties
  • Marketing property investment manager services
  • Growth of the rent roll
  • Assisting in ad-hoc tasks as they arise

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have a property management background and must meet the following criteria:

  • Current driver's licence & own reliable vehicle
  • Confidence in utilising modern Property Management software including smartphone Apps
  • Hard working and honest work ethic, a positive attitude & willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • A sound working knowledge of all relevant legislation
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise work loads
  • Exceptional attention to detail & organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, in providing support to other members of the property management team
  • Efficient and accurate data entry skills
