What this job involves:
JLL provides property management and leasing services to this leading government agency, who are a significant land holder in NSW. Our client has partnered with JLL to drive best practice across its operational land holdings and create innovative ways to deal with its portfolio.
The position on the JLL Contract with this leading agency is a multi-disciplinary role, which combines support, management and expert advice via:
- providing support to the teams comprising the client’s Property Group
- working closely with the client’s Asset and Finance Teams
- supporting internal stakeholders in large projects or ad hoc enquiries
- forming working relationships and negotiating with external agencies such as the NSW Valuer General and local councils
- taking the lead in quality management on the account data systems and client interface systems
This full time (or part time depending on experience) position is tasked with driving innovation and assisting in developing cost saving strategies, along with identifying opportunities for new leasing and divestment activities. The role also includes internal data system quality management, managing annual asset valuation programs, end of year reporting activities, and negotiating with leading government agencies to implement new land management strategies, to provide a varied and often challenging role.

The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial valuation and/or portfolio management or possess a range of relevant commercial property skills. Past experience in commercial property management as well as a working knowledge of the statutory rating system in NSW, and an understanding of the management of government property assets in NSW would be highly desirable though not essential.
