The key purpose of this role is to monitor, influence and report on how space is being used across the Commercial Portfolio to Australia Post strategic decisions to be made as to how to more efficiently utilise the space. The Workplace and Occupancy Lead is to engage with key Business Unit representatives to support and influence them to utilise the space efficiently in accordance with Australia Post’s business rules and guidelines to support the Business Unit to achieve the agreed utilisation targets. This role will support the Guest Services team and be the onsite contact for all workplace related items.
 
Key Responsibilities;
  • Provide advice and support to Business Units, People Leaders and Accommodation Champions.
  • Ensure key business contacts are aware of workplace protocols and behaviours
  • Contribute to development of new or improved workplace management
  • Ensure Service requests are logged and updated accordingly in Wayfinder
  • Attend PCC Meetings and other meetings chaired by Workplace Management team
  • Monitor and report on team utilization against agreed ratios and anecdotal feedback of effectiveness.
  • Produce regular reports for Workplace & Occupancy
  • Manage space management tool to ensure accurate occupancy data is provided and work with central analyst on floor plan changes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within each business unit regarding their workplace and occupancy needs
  • Coordinate Administrator access and training to users as required for occupancy too
Key Requirements;
  • Experience in, Accommodation & churn management and strategy or Building Services essential
  • Strong internal relationship management and influencing skills
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of working in a large office environment for a large dynamic organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and work as part of a specialised professional team
  • Ability to work with many stakeholders to get the right outcome for the client
  • Ability to challenge in a constructive manner
  • Ability to cope with pressure, prioritise workload and meet agreed timetables
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computing including MS Office products, Lotus Notes and experience with property/space management software.
