This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with an existing national portfolio of over 100 properties comprising a mix of commercial and retail sites.

Your role will be to manage a very large and diversified portfolio. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Establish strategic plans for the assets
  • Develop and manage key tenant/stakeholder relationships
  • Maintain the lease and property management database to a high standard
  • Develop and maintain a leasing and marketing strategy for the assets
  • Prepare  reports as required
  • Monitor and control tenant rental arrears
  • Communicate regular to all key stakeholders, from Directors to owners of the business
  • Arranging proper and adequate insurances
  • Owners corporation reporting
  • Administration of Leases including rent reviews and negotiating all lease renewals and new leases.
  • Asset maintenance

The ideal candidate 

  • At least 5 years previous experience as a Property and Asset Manager, in particular working directly with owners
  • Solid knowledge of Owners Corporation legislation and good understanding of retail and commercial leases
  • Proven leadership and guidance to property agents
  • Experience working with building managers/supervisors and Owners Corporations  
  • Strong knowledge of building and facilities management
  • Strong Financial acumen, including understanding of budgets and outgoings 
  • Highly developed communication skills, and proven stakeholder, relationship management skills.
  • Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills to deal effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders 
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including word, outlook and excel
  • A desire to create a supportive culture to motivate and develop the team
