ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Manager to take on the challenge of a new high-rise tower in the Melbourne CBD.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the building.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will report to the Owners Corporation Committee and work closely with the senior management to provide an effective and efficient operation of the building and be responsible for;
- Managing day to day operations within the building
- Ensuring a clean & safe environment for all residents and/or guests
- Maintain all essential and non-essential building services to the highest standard
- Ensure regulatory compliance is maintained
- Work with senior management and OC Committee to implement effective change
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Applicants must demonstrate the following skills and qualities to be deemed competent for the role;
- Proven passion for providing the highest levels of service
- Previous experience in similar role
- Team management. Site has contractors and cleaners to manage.
- Comprehensive building management experience (high-rise complex)
- Demonstrated understanding of the statutory requirements
- Experience with contract management
- Asset management experience essential
- Induction and supervision of contractors
- Time management skills
- Record management and communication skills
- Ability to listen to residents needs in an empathetic way
- Positive attitude with flexibility to perform varied duties
