We are the largest private owner and operator of Retirement Villages in Australia. Our purpose is to serve our residents and customers and be the best retirement community owner, operator and care services provider for older Australians. Our team of 430 employees currently operates a portfolio of 27 established villages throughout three states that provide care to over 4,300 residents.
In this role you will:
- Professionally manage our Retirement Village according the culture and philosophies of Retire Australia and the relevant Acts and other legislation that we are governed by
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a large variety of stakeholders both internally and externally
- Deliver high quality village services within budget
- Assist the sales team in achieving set targets
- Lead a high performing team to deliver outstanding service
- Manage all village administration including operating budgets, income and expenditure, sinking funds, general service charges, invoicing etc.
- Manage the delivery of key services in the village including care, catering, cleaning, gardening and maintenance
- Provide a high standard of customer service at all times
- Work closely with the sales, marketing and promotions teams
What you will bring:
- Demonstrated success in a similar management role
- Ideally you will have worked in the retirement village industry and have knowledge of the relevant Acts and legislation
- Proven track record of managing a multi – faceted service organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of current industry developments and standards
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Ability to liaise at all levels and build strong rapport with residents and staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to quality, professionalism and attention to detail in all areas of work
- A team player willing to go the extra mile to get the job done
