Our client is a national leader when it comes to land & housing development & residential communities.

They are a strong developer that is supporting the NSW Government's housing affordability agenda and delivering the local infrastructure that helps new communities grow and thrive.

This newly created role has been set up to report into the General Manager that has been tasked with hiring and creating a dynamic and exciting development team to focus on a range of development opportunities throughout NSW. 

The role will include: assessment, creation and management of demonstration projects to improve housing affordability in NSW.

The Research Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Development team
through delivering detailed analysis and advice of new project opportunities and market intelligence and advice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate new project and partnership opportunities by applying the approved Projects assessment model
• Undertake detailed due diligence of project opportunities including planning, potential development schemes, financial feasibility modelling, constraints and opportunities to ensure project align to organisational objectives.
• Coordinate engagement of consultants including procurement, developing scope of work and managing performance to ensure outcomes deliver value for money solutions.
• Identify project inputs and assumptions through analysis of available information and best practice.
• Develop and maintain financial models using endorsed software to support evaluation activities.
• Prepare presentations and reports required for the acquisition process for approval by the Executive Committee and the Board.
• Review Greater Sydney Portfolio’s, analyse opportunities and develop both pipeline models

REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary qualifications in a property related field such as Property and Development, Property Economics, Land Economics or related.
• Experience working within a development delivery function in a residential property organisation or other relevant organisation., e.g. management consultancy
• Knowledge of the residential property development industry and related processes, specifically with planning and delivery experience with low and medium density housing.
• Demonstrated knowledge in property financial modelling methodologies and processes.
• Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and critical thinking ability including the ability to identify a range of alternative solutions and present suitable recommendations.
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills and the capacity to manage heavy workloads within tight timeframes.
• Skilled user of Altus Developer or EstateMaster.

There are multiple roles available within the company for talented analyst that can add value. Contract and permanent roles available from $800 - $1,200 a day depending on expereince.
