If you’re looking for a managerial role where people management is the key focus then this is the role for you. Driving casual leasing income for Stockland, you will be an experienced sales manager to lead a team of sales executives covering a retail portfolio across Victoria and WA.
About the Role
Casual Mall Leasing (pop-up retailing) provides our clients with the opportunity to generate product sales and new customer acquisition via short-term leases. Our casual mall leasing sites are in high traffic malls, outside key major retailers and at prime entry points to ensure maximum brand exposure.
As Regional Manager – Casual Mall Leasing (CML), you will strategically manage and develop our WA and Victorian CML business to ensure key metrics are delivered in the operation and development of our retail centres. Reporting to the National Manager – CML, and drawing on your demonstrated sales success and ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders, you will:
- Coach, lead and develop our CML Executives to ensure team objectives are achieved, consistent with Stockland's approach to managing people.
- Develop new business strategies to increase revenue
- Provide sales reports, lead pipeline analysis, and sales forecasts
- Develop, recommend and drive the implementation of required sales tools, activities, systems and processes to support a high performing CML team.
- Review and continue to refine sales reporting, processes, and systems for consistency, operational efficiency, and best practice
- Enhance organisational effectiveness through continuous improvement and innovation
About You
The ideal candidate will have a background in CML and/or retail leasing with demonstrable success in business development and sales. However, candidates with strong sales experience and people management capability outside of property are encouraged to apply. You will have proven experience in supporting and improving sales performance through the training and development of others. Always striving for excellence, you are results-focused, commercially astute and are able to prioritise a busy work schedule.
