About the role
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Development your primary functions would include:
- Prepare the project business plan and delivery strategy
- Work with our CEO and CIO on capital and debt funding needs
- Establish and manage the muliti discipline consultant team
- Establish & manage the project's overall development program
- Lead & manage preparation and approval of DAs, VPA's and liaise with authorities and stake holders as required
- Lead and carry out all the key negotiations with stakeholders
- Lead and manage internal development management and project analysts
- Be accountable for the project's financial success
- Be accountable for project's reporting to internal and external financial stake holders
In addition to your Primary role your Secondary role would include:
- Undertake due diligence in support of the Acquisitions Team as required
- Contribute to corporate strategy

Skills and experience
- Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large (over 500 apartments) residential apartment developments within NSW. Ideally candidates would have experience with at least one multistage project
- Strong negotiation skills and evidence of successful engagements with key authorities and utility providers.
- Ability to problem solve, plan and have strong organisational and analytical skills
- A positive can-do attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising and managing stakeholders at all levels to deliver commercial outcomes and objectives.
