About the Role?

 

The National Asset Manager is responsible for the end to end management of all activity relating to the BOQ Leasing, Property and Facilities Management function. This includes the development and implementation of the property network plan, the analysis and negotiation of all leasing transactions, and the day to day management the property & facilities management associated with the portfolio.

 

The successful candidate will pro-actively ensure high standards of preventative and reactive maintenance, workplace health and safety and risk and compliance within the BOQ Property Portfolio.

 

The role also includes responsibility for the identification and implementation of efficiencies in the Bank’s procured goods and services in the leasing and property management functions, as well as the preparation and ongoing management of the associated budget. A core focus of this role is continuous improvement and synergy across Leasing, Property and Facilities Management.  

 

 

About you?  

 

  • This position is suited to an individual with demonstrated property experience (on a national scale) delivering both Commercial and Retail value add outcomes
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of building contracts, service contracts and lease contracts
  • Experience in engaging and leading a multi-disciplined high performance team
  • Proven skills in accrual based financial accounting, budget preparation/presentation and forecasting
  • Experience in managing all aspects of WH&S compliance including essential services and hazardous material plans.
