Aveo, Australia's leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking an experienced, motivated and pro-active Retirement Living Manager for our brand new community, Aveo Newstead.
About the role:
Reporting to the Integrated Retirement Community Manager Brisbane North, you will be required to provide management support to the village to create a happy, welcoming, caring and safe community.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the retirement side of the communities at Aveo Newstead, monitoring and reviewing compliance in relation to the Retirement Villages Act; Body Corporate and Community Management Act; all Aveo policies and procedures; and overall financial management of the retirement living community.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline;
- Previous experience as a Business/General Manager (desirable);
- Knowledge of Retirement Accreditation standards, processes and criteria (desirable);
- Demonstrated knowledge in relevant legislation;
- Budget development and management;
- Intermediate to Advanced user of the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- High level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills;
- Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
