Operating within the ACU’s Infrastructure Portfolio, the Properties and Facilities Directorate is led by the Director of Properties and Facilities and is a highly visible customer service-centric unit, interacting with a number of internal and external stakeholders and therefore must be presented with the utmost professionalism at all times.

As Facilities Administrator you will:

  • be a liaison for all guests, visitors, staff and students on campus
  • proactively liaise with contractors, their service requests and enquiries regarding maintenance or repair
  • assist and support with all front desk and phone enquiries, logging and escalating where required
  • coordinate logistics and arrangements for campus meetings, events and functions
  • assist with administrative duties, including document management, work order processing, and  event support.

You will need to demonstrate:

  • some experience in a similar role, concierge and coordinating maintenance
  • strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with people at all levels
  • ability to manage and prioritise multiple queries and demands
  • experience using computer based software applications
  • a consistent helpful attitude and ability to be flexible whilst maintaining professionalism.

Total remuneration valued to $81,751 - $88,588 (pro rata) pa, including salary component $69,081 -

$74,858 (pro rata) pa (Higher Education Worker Level 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
