About the role

Due to continued growth, we have a vacancy for a full time Compliance & Risk Administrator to join our St Leonards office.  This person reports to the Group Risk Services Manager to deliver reporting and compliance management for our strata clients in relation to a range of risk and insurance matters. 

A key component of the role includes working closely with and providing regular reports to our Strata Managers. 

Compliance is a corner stone of what we do, and we strive to be market leaders in the booming strata industry in NSW.  Within a strong process driven and compliance culture you will: -

  • Organise and manage key stakeholders to achieve end goals
  • Liaise with local councils and other external services providers
  • Arrange service providers to attend buildings to complete reporting and audits
  • Manage risk reports to comply with strata and building legislation in NSW
  • Arrange and ensure recommended actions from all risk reports are taken

About you

As a member of Strata Choice, you will be working with a small team of 9 persons who contribute to the larger business goals of the organisation. We are looking for a person who enjoys driving a process from beginning to end, delivers flawless reporting and can work within a highly time sensitive environment.  In addition to your ability to balance compliance and customer needs you will have: -

  • Efficient telephone and email communication skills
  • The ability to juggle competing tasks and projects
  • High attention to detail
  • Demonstrated strong time management and project skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative when appropriate
  • The temperament to handle pressure from time to time

Prior experience in the strata or property industry would be useful for this role but is not essential; transferable skills gained in other industries will be highly valued.
