About the business and the role
Apex Lawyers is a boutique law firm situated in Sydney CBD, specialising in Property, Business, Commercial matters and Dispute Resolution. We pride ourselves in delivering valuable and commercially viable legal solutions to our expansive clientele. We now have an opportunity to expand our team with a new experienced lawyer on a permanent basis.
To be eligible for this role, you must have had at least two years' post admission experience in the legal industry and you have a working knowledge of property law, contract law, business and commercial law, corporate law and family law. You are expected to take carriage of the matters either independently or under the supervision of our senior partners.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Proper file management
- Handling legal matters on your own both effectively and efficiently
- Liaising directly with clients
- Assisting supervisors when required
- Conducting legal research
Skills and experience
To be considered for this role, you are required to demonstrate the following:
- Attention to details, work with accuracy and minimum supervision
- Excellent time management skills and prompt response to clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Provide timely support to other members in the team

- Sound knowledge and understanding of property, commercial, corporate and family laws
- Able to conduct legal research and generate accurate advice to clients or report to supervisors
- Able to accurately draft legal documents, agreements and terms and conditions reflecting clients' instructions, providing viable legal solutions and protecting clients' interests
