As a critical member of the M&A team in transaction risk advisory, widely recognised as best-in market, you will use your corporate law skills to engage internal client service teams and manage relationships with external stakeholders to develop and deliver M&A warranty  product service solutions to clients.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering commercial, practical advice, drafting skills and expertise in M&A warranty insurance solutions
• Negotiating and drafting amendments to terms of agreements and insurance policies
• Working with external parties and maintaining strong relationships with the M&A deal community, including banks, law firms, accountancy firms, private equity houses to achieve quality outcomes

To be successful in this role you will have 5-8 years’ experience gained in an M&A or Private Equity team ideally obtained in private practice, in house, advisory, or consulting. You will bring a thorough understanding of all facets of M&A deals, including the due diligence process and negotiation of transaction documentation. Critical to your success will be your ability to analyse and structure M&A transactions and advise on risk. Lawyers with exposure to tax law will be highly regarded as an opportunity exists to grow a tax risk portfolio at the same time as underwriting W & I. You will be a commercial thinker and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

Your strong analytical and advisory skills, well developed interpersonal skills and superior communication skills, both oral and written, along with a forward-thinking work ethic will enable you to add real value in the role.
