The Firm

Headed by two entrepreneurial and progressive Directors, this boutique law firm offers high level advice across property, commercial litigation and estate planning. 

The Role

As a result of recent growth, the firm seeks to employ a senior conveyancing clerk to strengthen and meet the growing demands of the property practice. Reporting to an Accredited Property Specialist, you will be given autonomy over a mix of residential, commercial and development matters. 

Duties

• Taking initial instructions and providing estimate of fees
• Preparing master Contracts, preparing and finalising Plans of Subdivision and subsequent settlements
• Reviewing and preparing Contract of Sale including drafting special conditions
• Negotiating Contract terms for commercial transactions
• Liaising with clients by telephone and in person
• Conducting legal research
• Coordinating settlements
• Preparing client bills

Skills & Expertise

• Experience as a conveyancing clerk from a law firm or conveyancing practice
• Knowledge of residential, commercial and development transactions 
• Knowledge of State Revenue Office, Land Titles Office, Duties Online and PEXA
