MSA is growing, adding new clients and looking for enthusiastic Settlement Officers to join our expanding family.
About the role
These are exciting and busy full time roles, working 5 days a week Monday to Friday, where you will have responsibility for running your own residential or commercial property files from documents returned to settlement.
Your tasks will include;
- checking executed documentation
- on line searches
- dealing with key stakeholders such as Mortgage Brokers, Borrowers' Solicitors and major Australian banks
- certifying files
- booking in and organising settlements
- drawing cheque requisitions and receipts
- attending to stamping and lodgement of documents and
- general file management duties.
About you
This role requires a professional, confident and highly organized person to take ownership of mortgage files.
To be successful in this fast paced role, you will possess the following:
- You will be an outstanding communicator with a positive disposition and a flexible attitude to work tasks,
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines,
- Intermediate MS office skills,
- An acute eye for detail, and
- A working knowledge of end to end Mortgage Settlements or Conveyancing experience within a fast-paced, high volume environment, working within strict Service Level Agreements (desirable).
This role is suited for a performance driven individual who thrives in a high volume and deadline driven environment
