One on one with the WRS Director in this respected, premium boutique, you will take a running buddy approach to the market. Essentially cooperating in building you up as he starts the process of winding back. Their CV shows a top-tier pedigree, holding Partner roles at the biggest end of town.
There is strong corporate and litigation offering, there will be a steady stream of cross referral activity, particularly in respect to listed clients. Expect to provide employment law input to major M&A transactions.
Looking wider, there will be blue and white collar involvement across employment and industrial relations. Industry access will be varied, but include finance, construction, transport and resources (including mining services).
This environment will encourage further growth and development; finessing those technical and wider people and practice management aspects needed to take the step to directorship.
You will be an experienced employer side Senior WRS practitioner, ideally in the 7-11yr bracket. Coming from a top- or mid-tier firm will see you among peers here, but those with respected boutiques are encouraged to get in touch.
