The IP&IT team has a predominant focus on both government and corporate clients. They include government agencies, regulators, major telcos, television and radio networks, content providers, private equity firms, banks (international and local), sporting bodies, film production companies, online service providers, new media companies, media personalities and their agents, print and digital publishers, and IT software and equipment suppliers and their users.
The successful candidate will have an interest in this area of the law, and must have experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements. It is essential that the candidate should have a commercial approach as one of the unique aspects of the practice is the commercial input the lawyers offer in the clients' deals.
Fundamental to this role is the ability to work well within a team but also work autonomously on large and complex transactions.
This role will fill a senior position within the team and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with the Partners on significant local and national matters.
