The firm
David Gibbs & Associates have been practicing law and helping people within the Hastings community and the broader Mornington Peninsula for over 35 years. We undertake work in almost every facet of the law with a large emphasis on Wills, Estates, Probate and Conveyancing. We pride ourselves on combining the personal touch of a boutique firm with the service level associated with larger corporate firms.
The role
This role is different to most, insofar as your responsibilities will range from undertaking general Legal Secretary responsibilities such as dictation, copy typing, document creation, to assisting our Conveyancing Manager with the handling of Conveyancing files including when she is absent. With diversity like this in your role – there won't be any time to become restless! This role is not an autonomous position running your own files, however we are looking for an experienced candidate who can grow by building on existing knowledge so a minimum of 3 years conveyancing experience is required.
To be in the running to join our team of enthusiastic and high performing legal professionals, you will need to be a self-starter who thrives in a busy working environment. You will also need to demonstrate your ability to work within limited supervision, have solid experience in Conveyancing.
Hours
845am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday

The salary on this role is open depending on experience and this is an excellent opportunity to expand your existing experience. The position is a full time position with a monthly RDO.
