Morgan Consulting are proud to be partnering with a leading Intellectual Property firm in the search for a highly motivated IP Secretary to support a busy Trade Mark Operator on a permanent basis. This firm has a culture of loyalty and friendliness and they have won numerous accolades within the industry.

We are looking for an experienced IP Secretary to provide superior administrative support by carrying out the following duties:

  • Diary and travel coordination
  • Monitoring and coordinating all deadlines
  • Process billings and generate invoices within a timely manner
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Client liaison
  • Undertaking independent research as directed
  • Prepare client briefs, presentations, spreadsheets for budgets or financial analysis
  • Attend meetings and taking minutes
  • Preparing files and updating database accordingly
  • Maintaining client portfolio list
  • Prepare deeds and further correspondence
  • Preparing filing instructions as necessary for trademarks
  • Support other secretaries with workload during absences and peak workloads

As this role is supporting a senior operator, we are seeking a candidate with the following skills and attributes:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in the Intellectual Property space (preferably trade marks)
  • The ability to work with the utmost confidentiality and sensitivity
  • A quick and accurate typing speed
  • A strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Dictaphone experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • The proven ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • A positive and proactive attitude and flexible approach to work
