An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join the Property & Development team.

Roles responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Acting for and advising property developers in relation to various projects
• Joint venture arrangements and development agreements
• Liaising with clients on various property related matters
• Contribution to business development and marketing activities and building a sustainable practice
• Acting for property owners in relation to sales and acquisitions of commercial, industrial and residential properties
• Drafting standard and non-standard agreements
• Development work on large broad acre and off-the-plan developments
• Due diligence, including as part of commercial and M&A transactions
• Providing advice on licensing matters
• Advising on complex leasing and licensing matters
• General property law advice
• Supervision and mentoring of staff including lawyers, law clerks and non-legal staff
• Time recording and billing
• Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Principals.

Required skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will be 5+ years’ experience in general property and development.
