Established suburban litigation firm requires a litigation lawyer with at least 4+ years PAE in general litigation to cover the position of an established associate solicitor for a period of 5 months. The role entails the conduct of a range of proceedings before the Local, District and Supreme Courts, including appearances before these courts on mentions and directions hearings, and the briefing of counsel on hearings. In addition to general litigation, candidates with experience in probate applications are preferred, however applications from candidates without probate experience will also be considered. This is a professional and supportive practice, with experienced mentoring, and a strong team ethos. The successful applicant will however need to have the capacity to work with a high degree of independence.
