Established for more than 55 years, Barry.Nilsson. is a national law firm currently comprising over 280 staff and having a formidable reputation within its 3 areas of expertise: insurance & health, property & commercial and family law.
Our family law section is headed up by 6 well respected Principals and is recognised for providing quality advice, outcomes and service. The team handles a broad range of complex and challenging work for high net worth individuals – we don't undertake any legally aided matters.
Our Melbourne office was established on 1 July 2015 and the family law part of the office currently comprises a Principal, two Senior Associates and two Solicitors. Given the office is still relatively new, this position offers an exciting opportunity for someone to be involved at an early stage of its development and to therefore be part of the growth and evolution of the practice.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Melbourne office for a Family Law Senior Associate or Special Counsel. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in a broad range of complex family law matters, strong technical skills, excellent communication skills and a focus on client service. Specialist Accreditation in Family Law will be highly regarded.
