We offer specialist legal services in property, commercial, litigation and dispute resolution, employment & industrial relations and plaintiff personal injury law. Our clients include a broad cross-section of corporate, government, not for profit, SME and personal clients.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injury team based in our Newcastle office. Supporting a Solicitor, you will have experience in Personal Injury claims, and be able to thrive working in a team environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high level of secretarial and administrative support
  • Opening and closing files
  • Client liaison
  • Diary and calendar management
  • Organising meetings and travel arrangements
  • Drafting correspondence and court documents
  • Preparing briefs to Counsel
  • File and document management
  • General adhoc office administration duties

Successful candidates will have:

  • Minimum of 2 years Personal Injury experience
  • Confidence to liaise with clients and professionals at all levels  
  • Strong and clear communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills  
  • High level attention to detail
  • Excellent file managements skills
  • Excellent document management and preparation skills together with strong MS Office skills

In this role you will work in a close knit team and will be well supported in assisting to develop the practice.
