As a growing business, we're looking for a savvy commercial lawyer to join our team, to provide legal support across a range of matters that come up in running our business. Initially we're looking for someone to join us on a part-time basis, 2-3 days / week.

The successful candidate will thrive in our flexible working environment (wear what you want, flexible hours and location) and enjoy working autonomously and in a team, on both client related and internal matters within the company.

We were recently awarded #2 in both the ARN and Financial Review's Fast Starter list and won AWS ANZ Consulting Partner for the 2nd time and AWS APAC Partner of the Year for 2018. We have just started the new Financial year with even bigger plans.

Requirements

Experience you'll ideally have:

• Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts with a strong commercial mindset, adivising on a range of matters for client related and internal matters.
• Technology experience; contractual arrangements for professional services, managed services and product sales
• Advising on key corporate/M&A legal issues (including due diligence
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills

• A desire to continuously improve contract management and other processes.

• Self-motivation, high energy levels and a desire to excel and play an active role in shaping the future of the business

• Qualified to practise law in Australia.

• Great to have would be - International legal experience with matters relating to operating in countries outside of Australia

Salary is dependent on experience, however we're looking for someone to join the team on a permanent, pro-rata salary. This is a great opportunity for returning to work parent or someone who needs flexibility in their life. You will be working directly with the business and internal teams like finance and operations and take lead on all legal matters, with external support when ever needed.
