The Opportunity
We have an exciting new opportunity for a self-motivated junior-mid level Solicitor to join our market leading Disputes team.
You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of disputes disciplines, including international arbitration, restructuring work, anti-bribery and corruption, major construction disputes and class actions. You will have the opportunity to work with different partners and clients and gain exposure to different working styles and areas of legal expertise.
The Team
Our Disputes team provides practical and commercially-focused solutions to our local, regional and global clients’ disputes. Specialising in large or complex litigation and alternative dispute resolution, our team regularly acts in many of the most significant and complex commercial matters occurring in Australia
Our lawyers provide a comprehensive service for clients in general commercial disputes, as well as specialist expertise in: international arbitration, banking litigation, contentious financial services regulatory, class actions, competition disputes, corporate crime and asset recovery, employment litigation, intellectual property, tax litigation, insurance litigation, product liability, insolvency and restructuring litigation, trusts, wealth management disputes, alternative dispute resolution and public law disputes.
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will have an excellent academic record with 1-3 experience working on a range of litigious matters in a private practice environment. You will be a proactive team player, with exceptional communication and time management skills. Experience working for a large mid-tier or top tier firm will be highly regarded.
