The Firm 

Our client is a leading personal injury national law firm. Their aim is to guide their client's to a brighter outcome by being passionate advocates of their best interests and champions of every client's cause.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity supporting a highly experienced lawyer that specialises in Public Liability and Personal Injury matters. Working within a close knit and fast paced team you will become involved in many critical aspects of their clients’ matters.

Duties
 
  • Managing all administrative aspects of their clients’ claims from start to finish. 
  • Liaising with clients, medical professionals, lawyers, counsel and government bodies
  • Arranging appointments and managing diaries
  • Obtaining material in support of a case, including medical financial and claim records
  • Assisting in preparing a case for a settlement conference/mediation
  • Producing court documents, preparing briefs and trial preparation
  • Generating and editing correspondence, data records and generating reports
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar personal injury legal assistant role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
  • Superior organisational and prioritisation abilities
  • An ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • An ability to prioritise, working to ever changing deadlines
  • An ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of your work
  • IT savvy with good technical skills
