The company:
Take your career in-house with this fast growing, Australian based technology company and work closely across all aspects of the business under the guidance of two approachable senior lawyers.
About the role:
In this role you will report to an experienced General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel across:
- a heavy contracts focus negotiating, reviewing and drafting a variety of sales contracts, product agreements, supplier contracts and tenders;
- advice on legal issues across the business including employment law, leasing, intellectual property and trademarks, trade practices and corporate;
- continuous improvement of compliance processes and precedent contracts;
- the provision of training to relevant parts of the business; and
- interaction with varied stakeholders in the business, particularly sales and product development.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- 3-4 years' post admission experience;
- a solid grounding of at least 3 years in private practice in general commercial, corporate or IT/IP law;
- ideally some secondment or in-house experience will be highly regarded;
- commercial savvy, with a strong attention to detail and drafting skills;
- a genuine interest in IT and technology; and
- the confidence in building strong relationships across the business and providing pragmatic, highly commercial advice.
