We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, motivated full-time legal secretary to join our busy Insurance team based in Sydney. Providing legal secretarial and administrative support to lawyers at all levels, this role will be responsible for:

  • diary management;
  • preparation and distribution of documents & correspondence;
  • preparation of briefs;
  • opening and closing of files;
  • billing and accounts related matters;
  • liaising with clients;
  • liaising with administrative/services staff to assist in co-ordinating the work of the team; and general administration.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • a diploma in secretarial or qualification in business administrative studies (Certificate III or IV);
  • a minimum of 5 years' legal secretarial experience working in insurance;
  • possess advanced level of computer skills (i.e. in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
  • excellent communication skills;
  • strong interpersonal skills;
  • meticulous organisational ability;
  • a sharp eye for detail;
  • a reliable and team work attitude; and a confident, polished and enthusiastic approach to work.
