Our client is a national Insurance business with an enviable reputation. Currently they require a highly versatile Compliance Manager to join their business on a permanent basis. The Compliance Manager is primarily responsible for supporting the delivery of the business strategy and plans over the coming years

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the compliance program to ensure internal policies and procedures are in-line with regulatory standards and regulations
• Conduct audits of brokers files around Australia
• Identify potential E&O’s
• Prepare audit reports and analyse audit findings to incorporate into compliance policies and processes
• Provide compliance advice to the management team and broking representatives
• Review all external marketing materials
• Maintain training register and liaise with training providers
• Manage the company’s complaints process to ensure all complaints are handled efficiently
• Build effective working relationships internally and with external regulators

Expertise required:

• Demonstrated experience in the General Insurance Risk & Compliance environment, preferably within an Insurance Broker operation
• A strong understanding of the operational elements within an insurance broking business
• Solid financial acumen with proven experience with auditing accounts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of working in a strong team environment
• Strong stakeholder management capability
• An ability to develop and foster strong business relationships
• Excellent presentation skills
