We are looking for an experienced Account Executive or Underwriter to provide first-class customer service to a portfolio of valued clients and assist in driving growth within our Sydney Commercial team. This portfolio consists of Fine Arts accounts with a broader remit to service the High Net worth individuals and private clients. You will be working across a varied set of risks and client profiles including commercial, but principally domestic.

This would be an ideal opportunity for an individual to progress into working on accounts with heightened technical requirements, for an experienced broker who is looking for a career pathway and for future development in a large international broking house, or potentially even for an underwriter who would like to transition to broking. Support and mentoring will be provided to ensure your success.  

The successful candidate will be responsible for: 

• Working within the team to deliver Aon’s value proposition for a portfolio of significant clients. Some individuals may be senior executives within our Global & Corporate accounts
• Attending face-to-face meeting with clients and internal stakeholders to promote the team’s service proposition
• Identifying revenue enhancement opportunities within a designated portfolio and by engaging with the broader Aon business
• Assisting on business development opportunities within new and existing accounts for all aspects of Aon offerings
• Designing appropriate servicing solutions and insurance programs, and engaging with the carrier market to source the most appropriate cover
• Managing essential interface with Client Service Support, Claims and Broking teams

• An understanding of a broad range of General Insurance products, from either a broking or underwriting perspective
• An interest in Art would be a bonus  
• Exceptional client relationship management capabilities with first-class communication and presentation skills
• A Tier 1 qualification, or the aptitude to rapidly acquire it
• An innovative and collaborative approach with a team player mentality
• Drive and passion to succeed and develop as an individual
