You will be required to lodge home and motor claims and set them up for success. Empathy is important as you guide our customers in their time of need. If you love helping people by providing great customer service, you will love this role.

About the role

The Lodgements Consultant is responsible for the lodgement and validation of all Motor and Home claims. Your responsibilities will include:

• Answer incoming calls and be a customer’s first point of contact at claim time, providing our customers with empathy, certainty, guidance and support.
• Processes claims and provide ongoing claims acceptance decisions and advice on product coverage as per procedures and practices.
• Provide accurate advice to customers and clear instructions of the next steps of what we will do and what we need the customer to do.
• Setting up the claim by ensuring that our suppliers, repairers, assessors etc. are used as per agreed procedures and practices.
• Recommend any initiatives that will improve business performance and/or customer service delivery.

We are looking for the following skills and experience for this position:

• Strong customer focus
• Strong empathy skills
• Excellent communication skills – (verbal and written).
• Computer literate with competencies in Microsoft product offerings.
• Ability to interpret company policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
