Reporting into the National Claims Manager, you will have the opportunity to utilise your extensive experience gained from within a technical property claims environment.
Your purpose will be to ensure the proactive management of claims primarily for the VIC/TAS branch in accordance with approved guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- To deliver on agreed claims processes and procedures in support of the claims team goals and objectives on a state and national level;
- Building strong relationships with both internal and external partners and key stakeholders including builders, engineers, assessors, brokers and strata managers;
- Having good knowledge of industry regulations and standards to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with internal and external standards and regulations;
- Being able to demonstrate a progressive knowledge of the Strata insurance sector;
- Maintaining strong relationships with key broker and strata manager partners AND
- Adopting a culture of high performance, contributing to an internal environment of teamwork whilst promoting a positive brand image to external customers
- Have 2+ years’ experience in a similar claims role (Strata ideal, property essential) within the residential or commercial property sector;
- Be client focused working closely with all partners and stakeholders with the purpose of building long term industry relationships that influence positive mutual outcomes;
- Bring a solid level of claims management knowledge and capability to work closely and effectively with clients to resolve issues and improve their experience;
- Align to the values of honesty, accountability, transparency and continuous improvement AND
- Be a strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
