The Opportunity

Innovation Group is currently seeking a highly experienced Motor Vehicle Assessor to service the Melbourne area. The successful Assessor will be responsible for the retention of long-term, quality control systems to ensure that vehicle repairs meet our clients’ needs and expectations. The Assessor will work as a technical expert on all facets of general motor and commercial vehicles mainstream loss adjusting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

  • The completion of on road inspections and image assessing as required and in adherence with company standards and key performance indicators
  • Accurate and timely valuations on passenger and commercial vehicles
  • Maintenance and monitoring of internal controls, systems and records including all file notes and correspondence between all parties
  • Timely follow up of all assessment activities and ensure all file notes are updated and accurate
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with long-term quality vendors and partners
  • Monitoring vehicle repair quality to ensure client satisfaction
  • Ability to use multiple assessing platforms

Who are we looking for?

Ideally you will have solid knowledge and experience gained within the motor vehicle repair industry and an ability to understand all assessing processes. Advantageous to have Exotic, Motorcycle, heavy, mechanical, electrical, marine experience. However, training is provided on these and more as part of our career pathway system.

The Assessor will have the following skills:

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
  • PC skills including Microsoft Products and Database Systems
  • Ability to work within a busy environment and multi-task priorities as required
  • Ability to organise your own work day
