About the role

As the Actuarial Analyst you will be responsible for providing specialist assistance to the Actuarial and Pricing Manager on matters relating to the Health Fund and the wider PHI Industry.
You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and will comply fully with corporate requirements in terms of timeliness and accuracy of reporting financial modelling that supports forecast, budgets and premium applications, product development and monitoring.
- Preparation of monthly reports relating to the performance of the Health Fund
- Monitoring the performance of the Health Fund for various metrics
- Collection and analysis of HCF and Industry performance statistics
- Maintenance and update of the Projection Model and its components
- Projects and analysis as directed
- Preparation of PHI regulatory reports for external entities
About your experience
To be successful in this role you will ideally demonstrate the below experience;
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in an actuarial or business related field
- High computer literacy skills: MS Office package (particularly Excel), SQL, Mainframe
- Interest in the Australian Health System, The Australian PHI Industry and its regulatory framework
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation
- Understand and interpret regulations with ability to apply to the organisation
