I am currently recruiting this role for one of our clients.
This exciting opportunity is with one of Australia’s top wealth management organizations. You will be working in the Life Actuarial Team providing robust financial results and value adding advice. The team is led by an experienced great leader who truly cares about your career development and growing potentials.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Provide support in calculation of capital requirement under LAGIC, MoS profit and statutory reporting.
- Modify Prophet projection models as required
- Perform data extraction, Prophet modelling, policy calculation and assist on profit analysis
- Conduct experience investigations for internal assumptions and external industry surveys.
- Review own work to ensure integrity.
To be considered for the role
- Relevant experience in life insurance industry
- Partially qualified actuary working towards full qualification
- Experience in SQL, VBA and modelling software such as Prophet highly desirable.
- Either from a valuation or capital background
- Willing to learn and stay curious
