The Company
Our client is one of the largest underwriting agencies in Australia. They are widely respected for their ability to provide specialised insurance products and services to the broader market.

As their business has grown in their specialised market, they have now recognised the need to appoint a Team Leader to their Accident & Health Underwriting team. 

The Role

• Managing a team from Assistant Underwriter level through to Senior Underwriter level
• Underwriting A&H risks for a panel of Brokers
• Assisting in Portfolio Management matters,
• Liaising with the London market when required
• Reporting to Senior Management regarding team performance against pre agreed benchmarks
• Build a happy, successful and profitable Underwriting team.

Ideal Candidate

• 7 years + Underwriting experience or Packaged Product Underwriting experience.
• Demonstrated experience building sustainable relationships with a Broking network in Sydney or Melbourne.
• An outstanding work ethic 
• Good sense of urgency in meeting all deadlines
