The Role:
As a Governance Consultant within Mercer?s Governance & Legal Consulting team, this role is to support the Manager and others in the team in the delivery of governance, risk and compliance services to key external clients (primarily superannuation fund trustees).
 
In performing this role, you will:
  • Be responsible for the preparation of written reports and presentation of information to clients, focusing on fund and company secretarial services, claims and complaints handling services, and risk and compliance services
  • Seek appropriate solutions, based on research and analysis of current information, particular to governance, risk and compliance services
  • Assist with project management activities and proactively manage allocated project tasks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of services and intellectual capital within the Governance & Legal Consulting team
About You:  
  • 3-5 years? experience in a similar role within the Superannuation industry
  • RG 146 qualified or in the process of attaining qualification
  • Degree qualified with in Finance, Business, Economics, Law or other related discipline
  • An understanding of insurance claims handling processes and complaints handling processes is desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
