Join our high performing Life Insurance claims team and challenge yourself to provide our customers with an outstanding service as you manage the provision of dispute management as well as the ongoing effectiveness of internal and external dispute resolution.
 
As a Claims Dispute Manager you’ll be responsible for performing quality reviews which will include the analysis of claims processes through individual file reviews. You’ll review disputed claims; prepare Claim Review Panel submissions; provide your recommendations and findings to the Technical Claims Manager; and work in close collaboration with our Complaints team to ensure all claim reviews are managed in a fair, transparent and timely manner.
 
As an experienced Life Insurance Claims professional, you’ll have the technical knowledge and expertise to provide your support to the Technical Claims Manager in all areas relating to litigated, FOS and SCT disputes and complaints. This is a challenging and varied role which will provide a great breadth of cases to be a part of.
 
You’ll have extensive experience with life risk products including superannuation. Moreover you’ll have experience with dispute management and litigation. A legal background and/or tertiary legal qualifications would be a distinct advantage however not essential. You’ll have comprehensive knowledge of medical, legal, product and regulatory issues and it goes without saying that you’ll have exemplary communication skills and be confident at negotiation and formulating settlement plans.
