• Company: Our client is a national leading transport carrier with 1,000’s of Vans and Trucks, specialising in the transport of food across Australia

• The Role: As the Fleet Insurance Officer you will be responsible for ensuring national best practice across the insurance motor management, making sure the company meets all legal requirements and managing claims in the best possible way. This role is very visual within the company with key working relationships with the Maintenance Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Fleet Manager, Compliance Manager.

• Core Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess claims, costs and look out for trends
  • Respond, resolve and track claims  
  • Implementation of Health & Safety systems, safety training program inductions
  • Motor accident or incident of investigation & reporting
  • Provide solutions to make efficiencies

• Requirements:
  • Qualification in relevant field preferable
  • State & Federal insurance legislation and regulation knowledge
  • Motor and Marine claims knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong reporting ability
  • Multi-tasker
  • Constantly strive for improvements
