THE ROLE

• Leading a small team of claims professionals providing technical guidance, coaching and development and allocating workloads
• End to end management of a claims portfolio made up of professional indemnity and public liability claims
• Oversee and authorise claims payments in line with delegated authorities
• Set and manage key performance indicators to ensure efficiency, productivity within the team and that work is compliant with claims management practices
• Develop and maintain ongoing professional relationships with brokers, insurers, solicitors and other external parties
• Accountable of the on-going development and implementation of claims initiative

YOU

• Strong background handling end to end management of liability or financial lines claims with previous people management skills or someone looking to step up into  leadership role
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
• A valuable team player who is also able to work autonomously
