We have exciting opportunities available in our team to support both pricing and reserving initiatives and would suit someone who is interested in developing their general insurance experience across personal and commercial lines.

The opportunity
Initially you will be supporting pricing and reserving initiatives across the QLD CTP and Professional Indemnity portfolios however there is nothing stopping you from developing yourself into other product lines as well.
- Document changes to calculations and procedures in a timely and clear manner
- Know where to find data and how to link data structures to provide practical measures of business performance
- Develop new monitoring and ad-hoc reports as required
- Conduct regular reviews of pricing, valuation and reporting techniques
- Draft reserving reports and pricing recommendations to be peer reviewed by a qualified actuary
What does success look like?
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly preferred.
- We are looking to hire a number of people in our actuarial team currently so we are open to varying levels of experience and knowledge across both pricing and reserving.
