This well-known global life insurance business is currently looking to add an Insurance Claims Administrator to their growing life insurance tea,. Your new role
As a Group Senior Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for managing a particular portfolio of medium to high risk claim files and the mentoring of claims consultants. You are required to have a strong understanding of insurance claim assessment procedures, various legislative requirements and Claims Philosophy.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive claims life insurance experience, allied health or equivalent
- Strong communication and ability to negotiate with customers and stakeholders and recommend sound solutions
- Takes a collaborative approach, creates positive team environment
- Knowledge or ability to learn financial conditions in the insurance market and medical terminology including ability to read & interpret medical reports
- Strong planning and co-ordination skills and ability to prioritise and work under pressure
