The Company
This is a hugely diverse role. Our client is a rapidly growing Underwriting Agency in the heart of the CBD. Currently working across multiple lines of business, they are looking for someone to create the critical compliance framework required to scale and structure the organisation.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the entire compliance function. You will be joining an established business with multiple successful lines of business and a Senior team with a depth of experience and network within the market.
Working closely with this senior management, you will be expected to have a deep and embedded understanding of compliance, regulatory engagement protocol, aswell as offering legal counsel and secretarial duties.
About the Role
- Responsible for the entire compliance function
- Creating and installing complete framework
- Liaising with key business stakeholders in order to asses the suitable regulatory protocol required
- Offering legal counsel when required
- Company Secretary duties.
About Your Experience
- You will have a degree preferably in Law.
- Prior experience in implementing complaint framework and structure
- Experience in working with companies in growth mode.
In order to be successful, you should possess the following
- 5 years + experience as a compliance manager
- Understanding the crucial steps required to implement the successful framework
- Eager to learn and progress your career in a challenging and supportive environment
- Be quality focused while able to juggle multiple roles in a highly diverse position
