About the Job

Reporting to the Head of Member Advice and Education, you’ll confidently lead a team of six Education Managers in the efficient and effective delivery of Superannuation information and education to Rest members and the promotion of Rest products and services.

Key responsibilities fall into three key areas:

• Supporting and Developing Team Members - Champion education throughout the business. Coach, develop and support team members on instructional design and education delivery skills and manage a national calendar of education
• Employer Education and Support - Provide support to the relationship management teams to enhance their client engagement program and present to prospective members and employers on Rest’s education services as required
• Member Education and Support - Lead the organization in the pursuit of enhanced member understanding and engagement by providing thought leadership around adult education. Foster an environment of creativity and high performance for the Education team to develop and continually enhance engaging, relevant and high-quality education material. Conduct information / education seminars to members on all aspects of super, general education and Rest services. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure quality, currency and relevancy of all member education material delivered

The role requires some travel to CBD worksites, regional travel and occasional interstate travel.

About You

You may already be an Education Manager (or similar) in the Financial Services industry, looking to join a market leader or take up a new challenge. If you can tick most of the following boxes then we’d love to hear from you:

• Tertiary qualifications in education, business or similar, or other professional training qualifications or equivalent experience
• 5+ Years in a similar role providing support, education and advice to multiple channels e.g. employers and members  
• Demonstrated Leadership Skills
• Extensive experience developing and delivering engaging presentations via a range of mediums and for a variety of audiences
• Demonstrated knowledge of superannuation funds, pensions and insurance products
• General understanding of Superannuation industry legislation and regulations
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Highly developed relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills
• RG146 or Diploma of Financial Services would be an advantage but not essential
