THE ROLE

• Championing a sought after range of marine products, you will develop relationships with existing brokers (international and local)
• Build up the portfolio by managing and coordinating new business opportunities & managing your pipeline
• Retention of a large, highly profitable book
• New business and renewal underwriting
• Have the autonomy to price and discount on risks as appropriate

YOU

• A minimum of 5 years marine underwriting experience
• Must have a proven track record of maintaining long term broker relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate from the desk as well as in person
• Strong time management, prioritisation and strategic planning skills
