We are a small niche runoff insurer, based in the Sydney CBD, which is part of the wider global Enstar Group.

We are looking for an experienced full time CTP Claims Advisor to join our busy team on an initial 6 month contract.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Pro-active management of a portfolio of claims
• Providing an outstanding level of customer service whilst adhering to legislative, regulatory and procedural guidelines
• Ability to develop appropriate negotiation and reserving strategies to promote timely resolution of claims
• A high level of attention to detail
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including; employers, claimants, medical and allied health providers, and solicitors

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey and explain technical information
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide effective solutions to complex cases
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Strong negotiation skills

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum 12 months’ previous CTP claims handling experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organisational and time management capability
• Appropriate qualification would be advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
