The Role:
As a Motor Vehicle Assessor you will be responsible for executing financial control relating to the repair and replacement of motor vehicles at the evaluation stage of a claim and facilitating settlement through repair or valuation (in the event of total loss) whilst providing our customers with a seamless, easy and excellent customer journey.
Reporting to the Technical Manager you will manage customer motor repair journeys and costs within metro, regional and country areas via in-house inspections with customers, repairers or third parties following referral from IACs or DRMs by agreed methodology and process to a value of $30k.
Knowledge and Experience:
- A real passion for excellent customer service;
- A deep understanding of repair cost drivers, quality repairs & vehicle safety requirements;
- Prior motor assessing or estimating/job costing experience;
- Trade qualifications in the smash repair industry;
- Experience in the preparation of repair estimates;
- Intermediate computer skills;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; and
- Excellent personal presentation.
